Window replacement options
Picture & Fixed Windows
Picture and fixed windows are directly set and meant to provide an unobstructed view of the outdoors by maximizing glass area (leaving less frame). Fixed windows are ideal for when you combine them with operating casement or awning windows to create an even sight line. Fixed windows are non-opening windows.
Casement Windows
Casement windows open outwards from the right or left side, allowing you to control air circulation in your home. Casement windows can be opened to a 90˚angle for easy cleaning. Casement windows offer the best energy efficiency. These windows come dual or triple glazed with ½” air spaces.
Awning Windows
These classics crank outwards from bottom to provide ventilation while shielding you from the elements. Awning windows draw more air out than in, making them ideal for humidity control in kitchens and bathrooms. The special locking system makes these windows secure & energy efficient.
Euro-Style Tilt & Turns
Tilt & Turns are European-style windows and doors that open by either tilting the top inwards, or swinging the unit open into the room. With a multi-point locking mechanism, this window offers superior air tightness and resistance to water penetration. The inswing design does not interfere with any exterior features, and allows for easy cleaning.
Single Hung
Single Hung windows beautifully complement the character of heritage buildings, while delivering the durability and superior longevity of a fiberglass frame. The bottom sliding sash circulates fresh air and tilts inwards for easy cleaning. The fixed top sash creates a cost-effective option compared to a Double Hung, while increasing the energy efficiency.
Double Hung
Double Hung windows beautifully complement the character of heritage buildings, while also delivering the durability and superior longevity of a fiberglass frame. Both the top and bottom sliding sashes tilt inward for easy cleaning.
Slider Windows
Horizontal & vertical slider windows are built with operating sashes that glide to the left or right (horizontal) or bottom to top (vertical). This sash is heavy-duty with smooth running rollers that provide durability & easy operation. Slider windows feature spiral sash balances that hold the window spot to where it’s been opened. State of the art engineering allows for easy cleaning & ensures years of worry-free enjoyment.
Bay & Bow Windows
Bay or bow windows can be any combination of casement, picture, fixed & slider windows. These beautiful windows provide plenty of natural light, which brightens rooms & gives smaller rooms appear larger. We customize bay & bow windows to your specifications. We build at any angle to suit your requirements. They’re also available with an optional head and seat, allowing you to convert the window to the perfect spot for lounging.
Inswing Casement Windows
These windows provide for excellent venting and easy cleaning access. The inswing design does not interfere with any exterior features, and are typically used in heritage or basement applications.
